When someone you love is sick, you feel helpless. My sister in law as diagnosed with breast cancer years ago. I searched every cancer survivor's blog looking for things to put in a care package. Most things I sent ended up being unapproved by her doc. I wanted her to know, even though we were over a thousand miles away, we were with her in spirit. I wanted to send her something special and specific to the moment, but never found the perfect thing. Cancer took her before I could make something. The Milagro-inspired charms stemmed from that experience. Making the charms specific to sweet Gloria was the hardest because they hold so much personal meaning. I miss her so much. These are the breast of healing, hope, strength, and love I wish I had time to give her.
